The Making of the size? x Staple Design x New Balance ‘Black Pigeon’

"One of our favorite menswear shops, size?, recently had the opportunity to visit New Balance‘s Flimby factory to learn the process firsthand behind the making of their very own “Black Pigeon” model. The factory is home to New Balance’s renowned “Made in England” range and employs over 200 dexterous workers. Between 6,500 and 7,000 shoes are put together each week – all by hand – an impressive feat by any measurement.

Take a look at the gallery above to see the process behind the shoe’s creation from the premium leather being cut to the stitching of the tongue.

The shoe drops this Saturday, November 17th at size? Carnaby Street, Paris, Manchester, Covent Garden, Liverpool, Leeds, Brighton, Bristol, Birmingham, Glasgow, Nottingham and online." - High Snobiety
