"Summer is the season of superheroes, at least at the multiplex. On the silver screen, caped crusaders rule, saving humanity from diabolical forces time and time again. Photographer Chow Kar Hoo wonders what these larger-than-life figures would look like if they walked the streets among us — specifically, the streets of Hong Kong. Through a clever series depicting comic book heroes leading ordinary lives, we see Batman sticking out like a sore thumb at a nighttime market, Wolverine taking orders at a butcher shop and Hellboy forgoing pancakes and candy bars for alfresco hot pot.
