"The 82nd Edition of the men’s fashion buying event held every year in Florence, Italy, Pitti Uomo, brought in over 30,000 visitors from around the world all aiming to find next year’s leaders in gentleman’s apparel. The Pitti Uomo platform is a great way to launch new projects in men’s fashion, with Tricker’s x Quilp‘s set of formal footwear serving as a prime example of the quality presented to the over 17,000 buyers who attended this year. The British and Japanese pairing includes a set of four pairs of formal footwear, including two classic wing-tips each with a built-in vintage look, a uniquely bespoke zipper lace Derby shoe, and a pebbled brown leather plain toe. Based on preview shots of the footwear, the collection was made in Tricker’s shop in London with co-branding stamped on the leather insole of each pair.
