Lee for J.Crew – 101 Slim Rider jean

Amazed at the many collaborations that J.Crew has been coordinating lately...

"James Dean might have baptized it with celebrityhood when he wore them in Rebel Without a Cause, but the 101 jean was already known to cowboys as a true workhorse out on the open range. In living those days of hard riding again, clothier J. Crew asked Lee recreate the 101 for its discerning customers. Facsimiles of the originals from Lee‘s archives in Kansas, each 101 features a Slim Rider fit, created at the request of a 1940s champion rodeo rider. Thus, became the first ever slim fit denim by accident. Made from 12 3/4-oz. cotton, the collaborative design also features lower profile metal rivets, X bar-tacks along the rear pockets, and a signature spade like rear pockets with Lee’s “Lazy S” stitching. Lee for J. Crew 101 Slim Rider Jean is available exclusively through store locations and online store." - Freshness
