The North Face Purple Label – Down Outerwear Collection

More Winter designs from the TNF Purple Label and Nanamica. The usual bright color palette combined with TNF quality...

"Scouring through the archive stored by The North Face, Eiichiro Homma, managing director of Japanese retailer nanamica, was able to duplicate some of the lesser known designs from 1970s by the brand. The result,  the Down Outerwear line for TNF Purple Label franchise’s winter collection this year. All in exacting details to the original, Homma added modern day touches like the 30D PERTEX fabric. Thus, re-creating classics for a new generation of fashion conscious, especially when the so-called “urban mountaineering” trend is all the rage now in Japan. The collection features Down Parka, Down Vest, Mountain Down Parka, Wool Vest, and Reversible Primaloft Parka. It also includes Down Filled Shorts and finally, Down Muffler. All are available now at flagship store in Daikanyama, Tokyo, its branch stores in Kobe and Fukuoka. The items will also be available at select retail locations within Japan." - Freshness
