A historical look back to the early days of New Balance...
"New Balance had recently shared some rather treasured images with end clothing– a series of pictures and images that document the New Balance heritage, which began in 1906 selling arch supports to modify and make shoes more comfortable. Some of the images document Eleanor and Paul Kidd (who took over the company from Arthur Hall, a salesman turned business partner of William Riley, the founder of New Balance) at the NB showroom, and some others document the MIT track teams who had adopted the New Balance Trackster for their runs. Check out the full collection of images at endclothing’s flickr after the jump.
