Stussy North America is collaborating with Stones Throw to celebrate the passing of one of the best producers in the Hip-Hop scene ever, J-Dilla. February 13th, 2010 will be the date for this celebration.
"To pay respects to one of our generation’s greatest Hip-Hop personalities and producers, Stones Throw and Stussy’s North American chapters are instituting 2010’s February 13th as “Dilla Day”. Unfortunately, a few years ago J-Dilla passed away at the age of 32 due to complications from an ongoing sickness. The chapter’s of Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York, Washington DC, Toronto and Los Angeles will have special events as well as release a special Stones Throw x Stussy J-Dilla t-shirt." - Hypebeast
