What Time Is It?

Whatever time you want it to be...

"Rogan recently released their newest bit of design re-invention with the Timeless Watch. Made in NYC, the wrist candy repurposes old watch pieces, making each one both unique and a chic example of upcycling.
But the best part of this accessory, its "timeless" empty face, not only neatly dismisses the modern anxieties of analogue-vs.-digital and how to convey the appropriate importance without looking too flashy, but in the process also cleverly comments on the whole convention of keeping time at all.

Just in time for summer, the conceptual accessory introduces freedom from deadlines, time changes, alarm clocks (and the constant inching towards death) with its sleekly sustainable design. The bracelet, available in either matte black or gold, sells from Rogan online and in their stores for $110." - CoolHunting

Globe-trotter for Hackett Luggage Collection

For the vintage inspired jet-setter...

"The luggage of choice for many venturing across the world, Globe-trotter’s latest collaboration features an alignment with Hackett. With a very distinct British theme, the old-style suitcases are a far-cry from the multi-wheeled plastic choices available these days. Available now through Hackett." - Hypebeast - Eugene Kan

A Farting Duck You Say?

Why? Farts, Flatulence, and what have you are all still very humorous. Am I childish to still find this stuff funny...sure, why not. I'll always be a kid at heart...

"No matter how rude or nasty you might think they are, everyone farts, and that means everyone in history farted, as well. From the same man who brought you such flatulence files as Who Cut the Cheese? and Blame It on the Dog, Did Somebody Step on a Duck?: A Natural History of the Fart ($10) completes fart historian Jim Dawson's trilogy of gas past, from the world's first fart joke to a fart-obsessed Twitter user. Pretty much perfect for some potty time reading." - Uncrate

Xbox 360 (Slim)

The 360 finally gets a refreshed profile...

"Time to ditch your aging, power brick-tethered 360 and replace it with the new, slimmer, quieter Xbox 360 ($300). In addition to a gorgeous, angular new case, the new 360 features a whisper-quiet design, built-in 802.11n Wi-Fi, a 250GB hard drive, and an included wireless controller and headset. Plus, it'll look way better with that new Kinect thingamagig people keep talking about." - Uncrate

Reebok Insta Pump Fury 2010

My all-time favorite shoe by Reebok gets a refresh...
"Solebox’s Hikmet gives us a preview of the newly revamped Reebok Insta Pump Fury in one of the shoe’s most recognizable colorways. The ventilation holes along with a brand new mid and outsole, the iconic contours on the shoe’s side panels, as well an overall shape that doesn’t look quite as cumbersome, gives the sneaker a sleek and modern facelift while maintaining the same essence as its predecessor." - Hypebeast - Jon Luk

Nike Stadium Milan Foosball Table – 11 vs 11

This looks crazy fun! Try to hit a goal from the keeper on this one...haha

"Nike Stadium Milan has added a very cool new foosball table to their range. Entitled 11 vs 11 the table can actually take up to 22 players, just like on a real football field. Take a detailed look at the new foosball table after the jump." - High Snobiety

Mocc Socks

Another useful pair of socks, so you can still achieve that "no-sock look" w/o ruining the insides with your sweaty stank feet. Vans has a variation of this "Ped"/low-cut style sock as well (designed for intended use with slip-ons)...

"It's finally summertime: time for grilling, vacations, random hookups (if you're still into that sort of thing), and flip flops. Unfortunately, it's not really possible to wear sandals 100% of the time, which is why there's Mocc Socks ($8). Created specifically for the low-slung shoes of summer, these comfy feet covers let you achieve the sockless look and avoid looking overly dorky by showing your socks, all without making all your shoes stink like the inside of a well worn, rarely washed jock strap." - Uncrate

Native – Fall 2010 Slip-On Collection | Preview

Latest colorways from Native...

"Native might be a young brand, but in even in its infancy perhaps, it is already a strong contender in the footwear industry. Based out of Canada, Native cleverly combines the classic sneaker and footwear silhouette on the EVA molded footwear (Crocs, anyone?). For the upcoming Fall 2010 season, Native shows no sign of slowing down with The Jefferson, The Miller and The Corrado models. These beloved classics are dropping in new colors and will be available in men’s, ladies’ and kids’ sizes. With wide range of colors and styles to choose from, there will be something for everybody’s taste and needs. Also another good point to note is that these will be available at the sneaker boutiques, department stores and mass footwear chains." - Freshness

The North Face – Omotesando Hills Limited Collection

Another score for TNF Japan...first Purple Label, now the Omotesando Hills limited collection...

"Despite petitions and a brief legal wrangling against it, Japanese developer Minoru Mori pushed forward his plans for Omotesando Hills, a shopping complex at the heart of lux Omotesando neighborhood, and envisaged it to be the destination among the consuming public of Tokyo. Indeed, the 6-floor monolith of glass and steel has become the centerpiece of Tokyo, with an average of 300,000 visitors per week. In addition to the wealth of brand name stores (100+ shops) within the Omotesando Hills, another is the exclusive releases these stores offer, such as The North Face Omotesando Hills Limited Collection.

Visually distinctive, the Omotesando Hills Limited Collection includes some of the familiar The North Face offerings, like the Swallowtail Jacket, DT Triumph Anorak, and CF Climb Light Jacket, all in unfamiliar patterns and designs – bold Buffalo plaids, polka-dots on red, and semi-transparency. Originally available only through The North Face store at Omotesando Hills, the limited collection is now also available at The North Face Japan online store.

Nike Air Max 1-A-Days By Matt Stevens

AM1s...next to the 95s, these are next in line as my favorite Nike runner...

"Sometimes, it gets a little difficult to get things coordinated. Especially the wardrobe. Hence, when a girl decided to wear the same black dress for 365 days and accessorize it differently everyday, she attracted a large following and admiring nods. While the little black dress project is more pertinent to girls, designer Matt Stevens will be touching the hearts of sneakerheads everywhere with a similar project, but his venture is an embarkation on designing a pair of Nike Air Max 1 everyday for the next 365 days.

Taking inspiration from everything in life from cities to firearms, Stevens pairs his conceptual drawing with witty tag lines. Some can possibly be rendered into a pair of cool bespoke or customized kick, but some are more for the audience’s viewing pleasure– for instance, the Jason is simply a breakdown of the Air Max 1 into its architectural skeleton, and looks more like a cage than a wearable kick. Either way, sneakerheads will be able to stay entertained for the next year, so do check back with Stevens’ site for updates! images via: SN" - Freshness

Good to see Shwood getting some additional exposure...

"Many of you will have seen or heard of Shwood by now, but with the summer hitting hard around many parts of the globe we thought it time to highlight the brand here. Their slogan, “Experiment With Nature,” exemplifies exactly what the Portland, Oregon label is about – handcrafting eyewear with locally sourced wood. Not only that, but they’re finishing the frames with Carl Zeiss lenses, some of the best glass on the market. Wish now has stock...." - High Snobiety

Hayaku: A Time Lapse Journey through Japan

I need to visit again...amazing shots and music, one day I'll be there again...great video...

Hayaku: A Time Lapse Journey Through Japan from Brad Kremer on Vimeo.

"Directed by Brad Kremer this video offers a unique visual journey through Japan. With music from both Royksopp and The Album Leaf, this beautiful time-lapse moving image piece captures the modern community, forgotten wonders and nature, all to be enjoyed in Japan. Two themes emerge within the piece: the busy city and and the juxtaposed calmness of nature. The entire piece has been shot using the popular Canon 5DMKII. Enjoy!" - Hypebeast - Alex Milner

Ronnie Fieg x Asics Gel Lyte III Navy-Aqua Preview

Girls and kicks, not complaining over here...and they went with Joli Robinson as well. Great choice, haven't seen her really pop up since the import modeling days.

"Ronnie Fieg previews his latest colorway of the Asics Gel Lyte III. A bit more toned down than the previous Super Red drop, these follow a simpler scheme, building off the use of navy and aqua hues. Further details on a release will follow in the coming days. Until now, enjoy these images featuring Joli Robinson." - Hypebeast - L. Ruano
